This is one of our new programmes. It is set up to help those who are involved in appraisals.  The workshop is highly interactive, reviewing different approaches to providing feedback, as well as discussing psychological models for context.

Early Resolution of Conflict

This is one of our new programmes. It is led by lead tutors who are qualified psychologists.  The programme is set up to be interactional and psycho educational, helping participants to understand normal psychological processes that lead to conflict and isolation, as well as approaches that resolve conflict. 

Managing Strong Emotions

Conversations can feel out of control when strong emotions arise, learn to stay focused with compassion.  These programmes help participants to gain insight and understanding about emotional expression, why they may experience strong emotions, as well as others.

Having Better Conversations in Challenging Situations

Immersive and interactive training which equips healthcare staff with the skills and confidence to have better conversations when handling challenging situations.

Being Open with Patients and Families about Adverse Events

A sensitive and reliable system of training to support families and staff when an adverse event occurs and through the subsequent review process.

How to have Realistic Conversations

Interactive training which supports healthcare staff to have realistic conversations about care. Helping patients to feel empowered to discuss their treatment options fully and be at the centre of decisions about their care.

Future Care Planning

An interactive workshop which supports Clinicians to talk about Anticipatory Care Planning informed by an understanding of “what matters” to individuals and their families.
